I actually wasn’t going to go trick-or-treating this year in fear that I could get bitten by a vampire. Luckily, KFC has come to the rescue and helping out people like me.
Food & Wine reports that KFC Romania says it’s is the only KFC region where garlic sauce is used year-round. And they’ve got a fun video on YouTube that tells you all about it. Of course, everyone knows that Romania is where Transylvania is, home to everyone’s favorite vampire, Dracula.
The promotion asserts that Romania has “some experience with vampires” and wants to bring “garlic sauce straight from Transylvania” that is “100 percent vampire repellent” to other countries to protect against any unfortunate Halloween vampire incidents.
The narrator in the video also says, “It might save your life.”
There are only 11 countries where garlic lovers, or anyone seeking vampire repellent, can get their hands on it while supplies last. The sauce is available at select locations in Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom. In the United States, however, you can only get the vampire-fighting sauce at one place, and that’s in Texas, where, at least in Austin, bats are famously known to exist. But you’ll have to go to YUM Brands, in Plano to get some. You can find them at 7100 Corporate Drive, Plano, Texas, 75024.
But you’ll have to hurry: Halloween is already here.
