This is one of the best videos I have seen all year. Just think of how much time this took to put together.
The Performing Arts Crew dance team at Walden Grove High School from Sahurita, Arizona, uploaded a video to YouTube on September 29 of a Wizard of Oz inspired homecoming assembly dance that has gone viral with well over a million views, reports the Kansas City Star. This super-talented dance team blended in some music from Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Michael Jackson and it turned out to be pretty amazing.
Just like in the classic 1939 film starring Judy Garland as Dorothy from Kansas, the video starts off in black and white. It features a mash-up of audio clips from the movie and current music, with the Cowardly Lion dancing to Perry’s “Roar” while the Wicked Witch melts away to Swift’s “Bad Blood.” The scarecrow dances to Cypress Hill‘s “Insane in the Brain.”
The video even got the attention of Pee-wee Herman who posted the clip and wrote on his blog, “It’s wonderfully entertaining! Kudos to you all!!” -ABC AirPower-
