Mark Hamill Once Worked At A Drive-Thru And Got Himself Fired
While trying to make it in Hollywood, many aspiring actors will take gigs in food service. Before he was Luke Skywalker, Mark Hamill once worked at Jack In The Box. Sharing the story on the Late Late Show With James Corden, Hamill described his experience behind the grill top and how he managed to get himself fired. Hamill admitted, “I was always trying to find the theatrical aspects of it,” so when the chance came to man the drive-thru window, he decided to try out some voices for the fast-food chain’s mascot. “My manager didn’t think it was very funny,” says the new voice of Chucky in the Child’s Play reboot. “He told me to go home and never come back. I got fired. Fired! For being in character!”
